Professional Statement

Florence Yeung is currently a Doctorate student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hertfordshire.

She will be undertaking specialist placements as a trainee clinical psychologist, working with various clinical groups and therapeutic orientations in the borough.

Her main areas of clinical responsibility include:

  • Providing psychological intervention for people with common depression and anxiety disorders including GAD, health anxiety, OCD, Social anxiety, Panic disorder and Phobia.
  • Support people to work on their low self-esteem and help people with long mental health term conditions.

She completed a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at the University College London and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from King's College London.

Florence is also a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with two years of clinical experience in the NHS primary mental health care. Meanwhile, Florence has continued her research pursuit by submitting her first author study to be published on the Journal of Affective Disorders.
