Dr Saul McLeod, Editor-in-Chief
Saul McLeod is the founder of Simply Psychology and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (CPsychol).
He holds a PhD in Psychology from the University of Manchester, where his research examined romantic attachment and social support, and has published in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Clinical Psychology and the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships.
He has over 18 years of experience in further and higher education, and his Simply Psychology articles have been cited more than 8,000 times in academic publications over the past five years, and referenced by outlets including the BBC, the New York Times, and the Guardian.
He also owns and oversees the redevelopment of ClinPsy, the UK’s leading online forum for clinical psychology professionals and trainees.
Olivia Guy-Evans, MSc Associate Editor
Olivia Guy-Evans has been writing and editing for Simply Psychology since 2020, specialising in neuroscience, mental health, and psychological theories.
She is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society and an International Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association.
Her articles have been internationally cited in academic research, with her piece on Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory among her most referenced work.
Alongside her editorial role, Olivia is a PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham, where her research explores autistic camouflaging in higher education settings.
