Olivia Guy-Evans is a British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) member with a background in the healthcare sector, research, community well-being, and teaching.

Olivia has worked as both a Writer and Associate Editor for Simply Psychology since 2020, primarily in the areas of Neuroscience, Mental Health, and Psychological Theories. 

Her articles have been internationally cited in academic papers, her most cited being Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems Theory .

Aside from writing, Olivia is an autistic PhD researcher at the University of Birmingham. Her PhD is focused on exploring Autistic Camouflaging in Higher Educational Settings.

    • Research focuses on exploring the experiences of camouflaging in autistic students attending higher education. The research aim is to increase educators’ understanding of autism and help to reduce barriers to neurodiverse individuals accessing higher education.
